Converting rods, poles, or perches to chains

One (1) rod is equal to one (1) pole or perch. One (1) rod, pole, or perch is equal to 0.25 (1/4) chains. To convert rods, poles, or perches to chains, multiply .025 by the number of rods. For example, 16 rods x 0.25 chains per rod = 4.0 chains.
