"The Land Use Unit is charged with the enforcement of the Planning and Zoning Ordinance as well as related codes. The unit reviews and approves all zoning clearances and building permits, as well as, review use permits, zoning map changes, subdivisions, liquor licenses and exemptions. The Unit also handles and presents all requests for variances and appeals of interpretive decisions to the applicable Board of Adjustments and Appeals.
The Land Use Unit of Yavapai County is responsible for:
* Zoning Regulation Enforcement
* Weed & Trash Ordinance Enforcement
* Variances
* Building Permit & Zoning Clearance Review
* Home Occupation Permit Review
* Temporary Dwelling (Extensions)
* Exemptions"
